Greetings All,
At last Monday’s meeting I circulated a listed as a starter to seriously think about our information night/membership drive. It was meant to be a contentious document to engage discussion and set a course to get moving.
We cannot keep resting on our laurels expecting others to take up the running.
Action is required now, not next week or the week after. I would like us to continue the discussion this week with the aim of coming up with a format to proceed promptly.
Work has commenced on the Salvo’s kitchen and shower renovations. There appears to be a problem with the top provided for the kitchen cabinets. Jeff is negotiating with the builder and will report to us on Monday night.
The touch up painting has of the salvo’s hall has been put on hold until all other work is completed.
Confirmation has been received from Fran Chambers of the Rotary Club of Mornington that Edwin’s transfer to them paperwork has been completed.
The Shire of Mornington has been followed up with reference to no response to our request to tidy up the local parks bearing our name. It appears no contact will be made until a Shire Officer has inspected the parks. To that end I have been given a service request number 1921739 and “personal contact will be made in due course.
I sincerely wish to thank Mark for his agreement to do a newsletter very now and then provided copy is sent to him.
